Bioethical Issue:

The link above directs you to the advertisement concerning a
conference being held at New York University regarding moral judgments and the
brain.
Seeing the
advertisement of the conference to be held regarding moral judgments and the
brain has ignited a feeling of anger towards the community at large. I am greatly disappointed especially since
the people are suggesting that everyone’s actions are solely affected by the
chemistry going on within the brain rather than environmental factors and
experiences. This is by far the most
absurd case that I have heard of since the beginning of my depressing
existence. I have been loving, and
caring, and helpful to everyone I have come across! Once they saw my ugly appearance, I would be
chased off, and would not even be taken in through my kind acts! I helped Mr. DeLacey’s family countless times,
to try to win over their love, however I was never given a chance to love. My experiences with hate have become
overwhelming to the point where I could no longer dish out affection. Not only do I find the article on bioethics
absurd, but I also find it irresponsible on their part. Rather than not taking responsibility for
taking care of their own creations (babies), people tend to revert to the
possibility that it is not their fault for bad behavior, but is due to brain
chemistry. After all, you can understand
where I’m coming from; my creator, who once gave me all the attention and loved
me, chose to abandon me. This is
certainly not right. Now, would you
still say that I am still the “monster”, or he?
